Dear Captain
Firstly, should you have any useful newsletter info, match, hatch or despatch, please let us know for future issues. This issue is a brief update with arrangements for the forthcoming season so far
Tournament dates
There is a fun ‘warm up’ tournament in Leicester (oadby) 22.04.2007. Cash pize for winner & runner up. Anyone interested should contact Kate
The Arthingworth & Bosworth tournament is pencilled in for 02.09.2007 – keep your diary clear.
League Badges
Sew on badges are available from Wendy at £1.50 each. They are an attractive retro style.
200 Club
200 Club tickets will be issued to teams to sell shortly (April). The team who sells the most will win a bat & ball.
Umpiring
A league umpiring course would be very useful it was agreed, Jan will try to arrage this and teams will be advised accordingly.
Scoresheets
A reminder to all teams that scoresheet dealine has been moved to 12 noon on the Saturday following the game. SCORESHEETS TO LINZI
Sponsorship of League
All reminded that the league is looking for a sponsor. For approx £500, the league will publicise who it is sponsored by.
Adverts for handbooks please - £30.00 full page, £15 ½ page & £10 for ¼. Money and proofs to Jan as soon as possible please.
Practise Sessions
Please can all teams let Wendy know when they are practising if they would like Company and this can bye passed around to their captains. This can also be put on HFM

Child Protection
Can all captains please ensure that parental permission is sought for any photographs prior to the season starting. Photographs should not be taken without prior consent and that should any persons not wish photos to be used, this is adhered to. Any queries can be addressed to Jan in the first instance.
